Cat in the Field

Cat in the Field Chigiri-e print is limited edition, with 25 copies made. Height 37cm and 33cm width. Norkio Matsubara practises a traditional art form called chigiri-e, where the art work is created from hand torn Japanese paper. While her Japanese heritage inspires her work, the addition of newspaper adds a contemporary flare to the pieces of art.
