We had an incredible month filled with Halloween festivities! A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Howl-O-Ween event by dressing up their dogs; it was truly a challenge to select just one winner! We hope you all enjoyed joining our Halloween Spooky Spells & Potions and exploring the Hidden Treasure of The Oak & Iron Woods Trail. If you enjoyed these fun activities, get ready and stay tuned for our exciting Christmas events—you won’t want to miss out!

Inside Out Gallery: Tuesday 5th November – Sunday 5th January 2025

Our next exhibition in the ‘Inside Out Gallery’ at the Heritage Centre is ‘Wednesday Wanderings’.

All of the paintings you see in the exhibition have been produced by amateur painters, many of whom had never tried acrylic painting before, while some have been attending Kath’s classes for a while and paint at home too. Want to join in? Keep an eye out on our social media and events page for the next set of classes.

Find out More HERE.

Meet the Maker: Kate Bosworth, of Orchard Grange Pottery will be here with some of her beautiful pottery, all hand-crafted from her pottery studio.

A selection of Kate’s work is also available to purchase in our shop for a limited period from the 8th November, or directly from her on her Meet the Maker day on 23rd November. Find out more HERE.

Dog of the Month: Meet Lottie

This month’s Dog of the Month is Lottie! We think Lottie deserves to be this month's dog of the month because even though she can get nervous at times, she was very brave and got her paw print done by Scribble & Patch at our Howl-O-Ween event!

Think your dog could be next month’s winner? Enter today by posting a photo of your four-legged friend in or around our Heritage Centre. Don’t forget to tag us so we can see your adorable entry!

Don't forget we can make personalised gift vouchers! If you buy a loved one a ticket to a workshop or event as a unique thoughtful gift, let us know and we will design a voucher for you to give them. After booking their place let us know by emailing landofoakandiron@groundwork.org.uk
