About the Event

Wildflowers are a beautiful feature in the landscape of the Land of Oak & Iron, they signify the changing seasons as they bloom and seed. Their colours, shapes and textures are inspirational, and the stories of their use and history are fascinating.

Tutor, Donna Cheshire, is a national award winning textile artist who exhibits her work locally and nationally.

In this workshop, Donna will show you how to create an intricate piece of textile art inspired by native wild flowers, using materials such as hand dyed fabrics and lace, along with hand embroidery to create a unique and individual artwork.

Please feel free to bring any special or personal pieces of fabric that you would like to incorporate into your piece.

Cost for the days workshop is £65, including all materials, along with a hot drink, cake and cafe shrub lunch box (Salad or Spud Box). Places are limited and booking essential.

A perfect workshop to treat yourself, come with a friend or as a gift for someone special.
