Join naturalist Ho-Yin Wong from the Natural History Society of Northumbria on this walk discovering wildflowers in the Derwent Valley.
Wildflowers are vital for our pollinators; they brighten our surroundings and capture our imagination.
Join a friendly naturalist, from the Natural History Society of Northumbria (NHSN), for a relaxing walk around the beautiful landscape of the Land of Oak & Iron, exploring woodlands and grasslands, in search of some of the region's botanical interests.
This event is suitable for adults and young naturalists alike.
Please dress appropriately with suitable footwear, waterproofs may be necessary depending on the weather. The walk will be on regular pathways with some slight gradients.
Booking essential. Tickets £9.50 per person.
Meet in the Courtyard at the rear of the Heritage Centre.
