About the Event
Join Frances from The Nines Soap Works and learn the traditional skill of making your own handmade, natural soap in this popular evening workshop - enjoy the creativity of making your own bespoke soaps to give as gifts or maybe just keep them all.
This workshop would also make the perfect Mother's Day gift, so why not treat yourself!
The soap making workshop will take place in our café area at the Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre after opening hours.  The space is a lovely, cosy place to be of an evening.
We sell Frances' range of beautiful soap products in our shop at the Heritage Centre and this is the opportunity to create your own soaps using traditional techniques and your own choice of essential oils, colours and botanicals all from natural ingredients which are vegetarian friendly.
You’ll make two batches during this 3 hour long workshop and take home with you 10 unique bars of soap for yourself or to give as gifts. The equivalent soap would cost around £40 to purchase from the shop - this way you get a lovely evening in the Heritage Centre with the enjoyment of making the soaps yourself, choosing all the ingredients, along with a cuppa.
Perfect workshop to treat yourself, come with a friend or as a Mother's Day gift (if you would like a gift voucher please let us know and we can create one with the receiver's name on).
Cost £57.50 including all materials and a hot drink.
Limited to 10 places so everyone has their own workspace - we expect this workshop to be very popular, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
