About the Event

Join us for an evening dedicated to pubs, beer and local breweries as part of National Beer Day.

Pubs are a fascinating subject for exploring local history.  Author Andrew Clark will host this evening event, recalling the rich heritage of the brewing trade in the North East.

Remembering the great breweries of Scottish & Newcastle, Vaux and Deuchars and the many pubs they had.

The talk also includes details about some of the famous brands of beer served to North East drinkers - such as Newcastle Brown Ale, Double Maxim, Exhibition and Lochside Ales.

Andrew will also have signed copies of his local history books to purchase.

Tickets are limited, so book soon to avoid missing out.
