About the Event

Nat's Yates is a fantastic glass artist and is well known across the North East.  Her stunning work is on display and for sale in our shop area and regularly sells out!

This August join Nat at the Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre to make your own fabulous fused glass sun-catcher wind chime.  The sun-catcher will be made out of several pieces designed by you and after firing can be attached together to form a hanging mobile - if you prefer, you can hang them on a line as a window decoration.

This makes a fabulous and unique glass artwork piece for your home or gift for a friend.

This course is suitable for beginners or those who have tried fused glass before - a fun, creative event guaranteed!

Full tuition by Nat who will guide you through the creative process.

A selection of colourful resources and glass materials will be provided to help you create your own unique piece.

The panel will be taken back to Nat's studio to be fired then returned to the Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre a week later ready for collection.

So why not treat yourself to a creative workshop, come along with a friend, or maybe buy the workshop experience as a unique gift for someone special.

Tickets £55. Limited places and booking essential.  Nat's workshops often sell out, so please reserve your place as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

Please note due to the materials, this workshop is for adults or older teenagers only (please get in touch if booking for anyone under the age of 18).
